Blackburn defender Michel Salgado’s future has come under intense speculation of late after it was revealed that the defender would be leaving Blackburn at the end of the season.

A number of clubs have reportedly queued in for the services of the defender, who has a very impressive CV. The former Real Madrid defender is thought to have interested clubs in Asia, especially the Chinese market being at the forefront of signing the defender. Chinese clubs have made a resurgence in recent seasons. They are resurgence was confirmed with the transfer of Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka in this transfer window.
